Boiled chocolate cake

Boiled chocolate cake
  1. Step 1

    Place margarine (or butter), cocoa, sugar and water into a saucepan and bring to the boil, then cool.

  2. Step 2

    Add remaining ingredients, mix well and pour mixture into a well greased and baking paper-lined round tin.

  3. Step 3

    Bake in a 180C oven (160C fan forced) for 40-45 mins or until cake springs back in the middle.

  4. Step 4

    Cool for 5 mins in pan, then completely on a cake rack.
