Homemade peanut butter

Ditch the store-bought spreads... home-made peanut butter tastes better, doesn't contain heaps of sugar and is ready in 5 minutes.

    Using a food processor process peanuts until very finely chopped. Scrape down side of bowl and add oil. Process for 30 seconds. Scrape down side of bowl. Process for another 30 seconds and scrape down side of bowl. Repeat process another 1-2 times or until smooth. Season with salt if you like.

For a crunchy peanut butter, mix 100g of peanuts at speed 10 for 25 seconds. Set aside. Continue recipe and fold through reserved chopped peanuts at the end.

Make this in a Tefal Cuisine Companion: Place peanuts in the bowl fitted with the kneading/crushing blade. Mix at speed 12 for 1 minute or until very finely chopped. Scrape down side of bowl and add oil. Mix at speed 12 for 30 seconds. Scrape down side of bowl. Mix at speed 12 for 30 seconds or until smooth. Season with salt if you like.
