Grilled ginger pork sausages and cabbage salad

  1. Step 1

    Place pork and ginger in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Using hands, mix to combine. Using 1/4 cup mixture at a time, shape mixture into eight 8cm-long sausages.

  2. Step 2

    Spray a barbecue plate or chargrill with oil. Cook sausages for 10 to 12 minutes, turning occasionally, or until cooked through. Add pineapple. Cook for 1 minute each side or until heated through.

  3. Step 3

    Meanwhile, place cabbage, onion, capsicum and mayonnaise in a bowl. Toss to combine. Serve sausages with cabbage mixture, pineapple and pita breads.
