  1. Step 1

    Squeeze lime wedges into 2 glasses. Add squeezed wedges, sugar and half the mint.

  2. Step 2

    Divide rum, ginger ale and ice between glasses. Stir until sugar has dissolved. Top with remaining mint. Serve.

You could 'muddle' the drinks in step 1 - place lime, sugar and half the mint in 2 glasses. Using the end of a rolling pin, carefully pound until limes are crushed.
