Blue cheese burger with pear and red cabbage slaw

Add a touch of sweetness to this indulgent blue cheese burger with crunchy pear and red cabbage slaw.

Pear and red cabbage slaw

  1. Step 1

    To make the pear & red cabbage slaw, combine buttermilk, oil, lemon juice and mustard in a large bowl. Season. Stir in the pear, cabbage, spring onion and walnuts. Cover and place in the fridge.

  2. Step 2

    Combine mince, garlic and parsley in a bowl. Shape into 4 even patties. Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Cook patties for 3 mins each side or until cooked through. Top each patty with a slice of Castello® Burger Blue in the last 1 min of cooking.

  3. Step 3

    Top roll bases with slaw, patties and roll tops. Serve with chips.
