Anytime Pork Roast

Anytime Pork Roast

This Sunday, let the grill do all work.

Ingredients

  • 1 Pork Roast
  • Traeger Pork and Poultry Shake
  • 4 tbsp. Apple Juice

Preparation

Sprinkle roast with Traeger Pork and Poultry shake. Start your Traeger on smoke with lid open for 5 minutes to get started. Place Pork Roast on grill at 10:00 a.m. on smoke.

Mow the lawn – Watch Football – Play with the family

About 1 hour before your meal, loosely wrap the roast in tinfoil and add 4 TBS of apple juice. When you get hungry for dinner, check the internal temperature. If the temperature is below 170, turn up the heat to 350 until you hit 170 degrees. When the roast hits 170, remove it from the grill and let it rest for 15 minutes, slice and serve.

Mahi-Mahi Shish Kabobs

Mahi-Mahi Shish Kabobs

An island classic done the Traeger way!

Ingredients

  • Mahi-Mahi Fillets
  • Zucchini - Green and Yellow
  • Red Onions
  • Baby Carrots
  • Flat Green Beans
  • 1/2 Cup Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp. Traeger Veggie Shake
  • 1 tsp. Traeger Cajun Shake
  • 1 tsp. Traeger Blackened Saskatchewan
  • 1 tsp Traeger Soulvlaki Seasoning
  • 1 tsp. Basil Leaves
  • 1 tsp. Traeger Salmon Shake

Preparation

Cut mahi-mahi into fifteen squares. Mix all ingredients in a shallow pan, and place in shish kabob sticks. Start your Traeger on smoke with lid open for 5 minutes to get started. Place kabobs in grill and either smoke for 45 minutes OR cook on high for 8 minutes. Remove from grill and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • Asparagus
  • Olive Oil
  • Traeger Salmon Shake

Preparation

Coat asparagus with olive oil and salmon shake, stirring to cover all pieces.Start your Traeger on smoke with lid open for 5 minutes to get started, then turn to 350°. Place asparagus on the grill for 25 -30 minutes. Remove from grill and enjoy!

Amazing Salmon

Delicious, flaky, wood-fired salmon has never been so simple!

Ingredients

  • 1 salmon fillet
  • Zesty Italian Dressing
  • Traeger Blackened Saskatchewan Shake

Preparation

Brush salmon with italian dressing, and season with Blackened Saskatchewan Shake. Start your Traeger on smoke with lid open for 5 minutes to get started, then turn up to 325°. Place salmon on the grill and cook for 20 to 30 minutes, until fish is flaky (be careful not to over cook). Remove salmon from grill and enjoy!

Simple Fish

Ingredients

  • 1 Fish
  • Any spice or seasoning

Preparation

Spice fish with desired spice and let sit for 30 minutes. Start your Traeger on smoke with lid open for 5 minutes to get started, turn to 325 after fire starts. Place fish on the grill and cook for 20 to 25 minutes until the fish is flaky (be careful not to over cook). Remove from grill and enjoy.

Midnight Brisket

Midnight Brisket

Because there's no babysitting with a Traeger, you can throw this on at midnight, and let the grill do the work while you dream about how good it is going to taste,

Ingredients

  • 4 - 6 lbs. flat cut brisket
  • olive oil
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Traeger Beef Rub
  • Traeger Chicken Rub
  • Traeger Blackened Saskatchewan

Preparation

Rub sauces and seasoning into the meat. fill an aluminum pan with water and olive oil and place on top of the drip pan, under the grill grate, to create steam. Start your Traeger on smoke with lid open for 5 minutes to get started. Place brisket on grill and leave on smoke for 12 hours, or until internal temperature of the meat reaches 180. Remove from grill and double wrap tightly with beef broth in foil. Place back on grill. After 2 hours, or once internal temperature of the meat reaches 190 degrees. Remove from grill and let rest for 15 minutes. Slice and serve with your favorite Traeger BBQ sauce.

Ingredients

  • Denver Steak
  • Olive Oil
  • Brown Sugar
  • Worchestershire Sauce
  • Dijon Mustard
  • Traeger Beef Rub
  • Traeger Blackened Saskatchewan Shake

Preparation

Tenderize steak with a wooden mallet, and marinate overnight in mixture of wet and dry ingredients. Start your Traeger on smoke with lid open for 5 minutes to get started, then set to high. Let grill heat up for 5 -10 minutes. Place steaks on grill and turn back to smoke for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from grill and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 Ears of Corn
  • Olive Oil
  • Traeger Veggie Shake
  • Traeger Blackened Saskatchewan Shake

Preparation

Lightly coat corn with mixture of olive oil, Traeger Veggie Shake, and Traeger Blackened Saskatchewan. Wrap all of the corn together in foil with 1/2 cup of water.Start your Traeger on smoke with lid open for 5 minutes to get started, then turn to high. Place corn on grill for 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from grill, unwrap and enjoy!

Smoked Salmon

Smoked salmon is often very costly due to the traditional time and labor intensive process of preparing it. Now you can have delicious smoked salmon at home on your Traeger, and your guests will never believe you prepared it!

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 TBSP Black Pepper
  • 1/2 Cup Coarse Salt
  • 1 Cup Vodka
  • 1-1/2 to 2 Lbs. Salmon (Preferably Wild Caught)

Preparation

Place the Salmon in a large resealable bag. Pour vodka into bag and massage the bag until the salmon is immersed. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours. Mix dry ingredients and apply to salmon. Refrigerate for 2-4 hours. Rinse the cure and dry with paper towels. Set Traeger to smoke with lid open until fire is established. Smoke salmon for 30 minutes (Skin-Side down). Increase to 225°F-230°F. Cook salmon for 45 min-1 hour. Refrigerate until serving time.

Simple to prepare, and fall off the bone tender and delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1-3 Racks Baby Back Ribs
  • 1 bottle Traeger Salmon Shake

Preparation

Lightly sprinkle Salmon Shake on ribs, and start your Traeger on smoke with lid open for 5 minutes to get started. Place ribs on the grill for 4 to 5 hours on smoke. Remove ribs and place in aluminum foil with your choice of BBQ sauce or 1/2 cup of water. Close foil and put back on grill. Turn digital controller to 350 for 45 minutes. Take ribs off and let rest for 20 minutes & enjoy!
